Default java file extensions and Google

If i design a site using java and use a file extention such as .s (index.s) - the standard is usually .do or .action, does this impact Google and my ranking at all?

At Google, we are able to index most types of pages and files with very few exceptions. File types we are able to index include: pdf, asp, jsp, html, shtml, xml, cfm, doc, xls, ppt, rtf, wks, lwp, wri, swf.
I wouldn't use an extension other than these.

Phantom
Are you sure about that?
I tried searching google [image search ] today for some images that are on my site. It's php. I did not get any results from my site, and those from other sites that did show were all html. My search was fairly specific.Any idea what the problem was?
Thanks

Google can index php pages, but that's straying off the topic of the post.

Do the .s and .action files contain text? If so, then I think Google will index it regardless of the file extension.

Out of interest, why have these files not got .java extensions, being java files? Are the data files or something? If they are binary encoded, then Google will almost certainly skip them.

I do know that I have had java source files indexed in the past by Google, and the .java file is certainly not listed in Googles list of suitable file endings.
