Default Paid Search Engine Submissions

Hi,

I want to go for Paid Search Engine Submissions for my website and want to know whether it is beneficial or not.
There are certain agencies that offers hundreds of Search engines where they will submit my website but it may have FFA search engines.

One more thing i want to confirm is that if my website is submitted to FFA search engines, will it lead to lower down my PR or have negative impact on my website traffic.

for whihc paid submission service i should go for ... Plz guide me

Mods, we need a FAQ page.

Hi and welcome, put your autograph (URL) on your posts through 'profile'- then spend about an hour reading threads in SEO, you will find this subject over and over again, forget paid inclusion to SE's, that is 'old hat'- submit to Directories on your subject, try www.pheedster.com/directories.php
That will keep you busy for weeks!

An inbound link should not be damaging, regardless of where it comes from. Just make sure you are nt linking to any dodgy ones. you have no control over sites that link to you and cannot be penalized for it.

Just go through the list of directories, and you can probably find some local ones from your home town etc.
Don't start paying for what you can get for free. You may want to pay for a couple of the bigger directories later, but not right now.

There is no need to submit your site to the search engines, they will find you by the links you have pointing to your site.

Paid search engine submission services are a scam.

Hi CBP, not seen you around for a while.

The man is right. Paid search engine submissions are not only a con, they can get you banned from some directories. Don't do it. Like I said above, go for MANUAL submission to directories, the ones that cost nothing first. There are plenty of them. Then have a think about the directories that require a reciprocal link. One or two of them may be worth going for.

There are also one or two directroies requiring paid submission that might be worth it later on. Go for the freebies first, though.

Go to ebay.com and do a search for search engine ... you can buy your own SE submission business!!! - there is one there for 99c at the moment.

Just as a matter of interest, where do you people go skiing in summer?

Thanks, but I will pass up on the offer!

There was no snow there - that was the idea - to go away for a week and do nothing ....
