We have several domain names available that we wish to redirect to our main page (existing domain). If we submit these domains to the search engines, will this affect the main page? We currently have several top 10 rankings in Google and Yahoo, which we like to keep off course, but we hope to generate extra traffic by submitting these domains as well.
Is this possible or will the main site get banned because of this? |

How do you mean it does not work, they wont cache it and show other domainds in SERPs? I have a new problem with domains now.. i have a site setup on adriatica.hr which has the same content as yacht-base.com. adriatica.hr shouldnt be anywhere, but i have just found out that google has it in its cache and it has PR 2. I thought to redirect adriatica.hr on yacht-base.com and delete everything that was previously there. now I dont know what to do, will google see this as spam? If it stays like this, ill get double content penalty, and there is not much point in modyfing content of adriatica.hr - why to have two almost identical pages... |

Well, we do want to use the other domain names. Are you saying it would be better to just copy everything to the other domains and submit them to the search engines?
I do like to know if redirecting is considered as spam and if this would hurt the main page. |

We have some domain names that users often type them in, without help of search engines, so its important to have them redirected. on the other hand, it seems to me spammy to have 6 domain names in SERP for the same thing, right? I hope someone can answer this - Will redirect of a domain which is in google's cache with PR 2 hurt my current PR and/or SERPs? |
