Default What damage is done when a host goes down?

Hello,
I have a client, who's web host went down for just over a day. He is back up and running now, but the damage has been done. My client lost loads of sales and has lost positions in the Search Engines.

How best can I help him recover from this, what can I expect? How long will he take to recover position?

Also can anyone recomend a really good cheap UK based web host that is fast and reliable and allows ASP and Ms Access? (also Cdonts would be a plus...)
As he has determined to move hosts now.

The positions should be back in the next crawl. If it is just for oneday, the positions shouldn't get effected that much.

Their results should come back, patience.
Site tight, don't do anything drastic.

Cheap host? You're kidding, right?
After a site crash, I would think that $$$ would be the last concern... your client is a glutton for punishment

I have about 20 small sites hosted through www.godaddy.com They are very cheap less then $100 per year. Of course I've heard other people complain about them, but for us they've yet to dissapoint.
