Search Industry Future

The announcement of Google's SMS service got my curiousity going a little.

What other services do you see growing from the search engine industry? What does the future hold for search technology? And not necessarily in the business sense, either. What other manifestations will search be found in?

Or has the industry, in its present state, begun to reach its peak?

There not even close to peaking yet.
Look at google labs http://labs.google.com/

I'd hate to think thousands of people at yahoo, google, msn, etc. have peaked and can't offer us anything new.
