Default XP SP2 is blocking my flash?

hi all

just installed XP service pack 2

and its blocking my flash content on my site..

what are you guys doing to get around this if anything?

any suggestions appreciated..

yeah it also block css and javascript for PC files, however just click at top for Options and select "Allow Blocked Content...".

wow.. didnt know that.. thats even worse

i know how to give permission to the pages etc..

but im sure most of my customers wont...

thats the problem..

It isn't a problem as it only happens when loading local files in to the browser. When the content is hosted through a web server, Internet Explorer does not block it. The only way I could see this being a problem is if you're working with web content off of a CD-ROM...

... which I feel to be completely tacky. If that's what you're trying to do, why not make do it through a Flash projection?

your absolutely correct..

sorry I just pannicked a bit when editing my pages and had the blocking occoured.

from the web they load normally...

ok i feel like an idiot now, though a muchly relieved one :)
