Default Whois.sc changed to whois-source.com

http://www.whois.sc
Did this happen recently?

To be honest that domain (whois.sc) was one of the only few non tld's that I've memorized and used on a regular basis.

Is this for seo reasons, and when did this happen, I haven't used the source in the last 3 days or so, so I can's imagine that this change took place that long ago. (unless I just missed it all along)

My question though is... Why re-invent the wheel?
