Hi guys
I read somewhere that if you r using commas in your meta description then some search engines consider commas as spam. How much is this right? For Example if iam using Shop HardDisks, keyboards, Mouses at my site.com Thnx Asim |

I would say that the excessive use may be considered sppam, but most se's dont care about the meta tags so I dont think it is a big deal. Just keep it reasonable to be safe. I have commas in all of my sites meta description tags and I have never had any problems.

I got this from Microsoft Bcentral's Submit it, Where i was checking readiness chk for my website
Spam Issue: Within the HTML of your page we have detected more than 3 commas in your description meta tag. This often signifies a keyword list (spam), which could result in your listing getting penalized by the search engines. We recommend limiting the use of commas in your description meta to no more than 3 for this reason. Thnx |
