Default Question about links to home page from internal pages

Hi,

On all of my internal pages there is link back to home page. The link is in the form: "http://www.singles-space.com/dating-service/dating-russian-woman.jsp". I think that may be it's better to use the form "../dating-service/dating-russian-woman.jsp" without including the domain name in the link. Recently my PR dropped to 0 and I didn't use any black techniques. Could it be, that using the link to home page with the domain name in it, is interpreted by a SE as spamming?

Thanks
Agady

The page you listed ("http://www.singles-space.com/dating-service/dating-russian-woman.jsp") is NOT a home page -- it is a copy of a home page.

Also, it appears to me you have MANY different sites trying to accomplish the same thing -- multiple top 10 listings for basically the same service. If this is the case, you have not even begun to see the worst of it.

1. The page http://www.singles-space.com/dating-...sian-woman.jsp IS the home page, not a copy. The server is set up to display this page when someone types http://www.singles-space.com/.

2. I have only ONE site and I don't understand what you mean under different top 10 listings. I am not in top 10 on any of search engines. I would be happy if I was. jbgilbert, if you see my site in any of 10 top listings, could you please let me know where?

I can't get the page to load at the moment, so I can't view yr site. Is it by any chance an affiliate site? If you are using affiliate content and/or templates maybe that'd explain the impression that you have multiple sites...

I see that my ISP had a problem with the connection for several minutes. I don't think it would be a problem to load the page before.

I am not a affiliate site, the database belongs to me. Hoever I am still puzzed where jbgilbert got his wierd ideas. I thought that if a server is set up to display a particular page when someone types the domain name, this page is called the HOME page. Can someone tell me if I am mistaken. What if the home page then?

jbgilbert, could you please list at list ONE site except for singles-space.com which I am running. I don't believe that you can attack someone like this without any explanation.

thanks
Agady

You have 2 different URL's pointing to the same page, that could be considered a spaming or duplicate content by an SE.
Do it right point your home page links to http://www.singles-space.com/

Thanks for reply, mushroom. I really do have two different URL pointing to my home page. It happened because I was changed the design of the site. But I believe (at least I hope) that it will hot be considered as spamming by SE, since the page, that used to be a home page in the past, has a code MOVED_PERMANENTELY.

Thanks for advice to change the links, which point to the home page, for www.singles-space.com. I see now that the full URL creates confusion.
