Which Search Engine Is More Effective?

I have a question in regards to which search engine drives more traffic.

I was strictly doing Overture pay per click on Yahoo for a while and I received several mortgage leads through the keyword phrase "temecula mortgage company". I finally obtained spot #3 on Google for "temecula mortgage company", I've had it for over a month, and I have had absolutely no traffic whatsoever through Google for this term. What gives?????

It really depends on how you have optimised your site (if you have at all) as well as the compotition for the search terms.

I get most of my traffic through Google, followed by Yahoo! but each site is different.
