Default SEO for www.beautifulgownsales.com

I am new to web design and could use some tips that will increase my ranking for www.beautifulgownsales.com. This site was designed for a client, and out of all the sites I have designed, I have never focused this much on trying to get a top ranking for my client on the SEs. I know that getting many relevant links to the site over the next few months will help tremendously. But is there anything from a design standpoint you can see that would help get this site to the top of the lists?

Haven't looked at the site, but if you're new to web design, I'd suggest you stick to that, rather than trying to diversify too quickly.

Most SEOs look for two things in a design, that the pages are easy to spider and to index, and if they use a doctype,and validate for it, that's a bonus.

Everything else, from meta tags to textual content to conversion is best left to those experienced in those areas, otherwise you risk making a mess of it in all sectors.

Nothing to with qith page optimization, but one of my pet peeves is when web sites have a margin around it, unless done intentionally. Place this in the body tag to remove it.
leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" rightmargin="0" bottommargin="0" marginwidth="0"

Something else I noticed immediately is you don't have any of the pages optimized for any specific keyword. I've said it before and I'm sure i'll say it again, don't take the easy way out and use the same information for all your title tags. Create seperate title tags based on your keywords for that page. It's been my experience that this makes a huge impact in google.

That should be a big start for you.
