Finding Articles To Post

I was trying to think of a way to get more content on my website to give the search engines more to index and thought that it might be a good idea to post some small business oriented articles on my site.

Is there some sort of resource where you can go to search for articles to post on your website?

www.ideamarketers.com have some great articles, and so does www.top7business.com (although the latter has a very unique format and I'm not sure if they'll let you duplicate their stuff).

as far as "duplicate content" goes, I don't think it would be considered as such. The content spreads across multiple domain names and many sites offer news/RSS feeds anyway. So I wouldn't worry from that standpoint.

Each article has a "text-only" version you can grab right off the site, and if you view the source of it, you'll see the start and end comment tags so you know what to take.

There are quite a few free content providers. I've provided an article for redistribution to one myself. The two mentioned previously are a great start.

What's "sometimes" better than that is to include a news feed based on a topic close to your site's niche. I found a news feed on diamonds, which complements my crystal quite well. And if you have a blog, you can make your 'news feed' available to others as well.
