Default Does anyone know anything about bordermanager visits?

We regulary have visits from what looks like a spider with user-agent tag of:

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; BorderManager 3.0)

It's most recent visit about 5 minutes ago basically brought our server to its knees by creating multiple sessions over and over, it was akin to a DOS attack.

We quickly blocked the IP address and everything luckily has gone back to normal.

Can anyone shed any light on this user agent, why it's visiting our site and what IP addresses it uses. We know BorderManager 3.0 is a set of Novell Network Security tools or something like that but thats all.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
