Three Questions in One

Dear All,

Would much appreciate answers to a three-parter,

1. Comparing www.sochoose.com/index.php and www.sochoose.com/workplace_counselling.php. Both built using Dreamweaver. Difference is that main body of text in "index" built in table within layers, then amalgamated using convert - layers to table command, "workplace_counselling" built in layers then converted to table. Does how I've done this make any difference to code, ease of spidering etc?

2. Comparing same pages; index.php ranks over 500 in Google for key optimised phrase "employee assistance programme" (though does ok in other search engines, top 30 in MSN and 28-128 in Yahoo depending on time of day), whilst workplace_counselling ranks 160-ish in Google (variable in other SE's). Thing is index is PR4, counselling is PR3, same number - roughly - of search items found and way more links to index. Can't work this one out at all.

3. On the subject of html, does anyone know of a programme to automatically delete redundant/duplicate code. Dreamweaver claims to do it, but doesn't do it so well.
