Default site finished now need to get ranked

I need SEO and was wondering what is the best way to go about it.
I am new to the industry and would appreciate any help.

You have a couple of options. First you could hire a professional SEO. Not really practical if you have a limited budget. Otherwise your best bet is to learn as much as you can in this and other SEO forums, and other places on the internet, and start doing it yourself. Either way it takes a lot of time and patience.

Do a search on google for SEO Forum. You should find a lot of great resources to start with.

Also, consider looking into ppc or banner advertising until you can get your site up in the listings.

I completely agree with this reply - It's all about time.... How much you have and how much your willing to invest. Of course, learning the ins and outs will be best for you now and for the future... But it takes time...
