We have opened a new site
www.digitaldeejay.com which after a lot of development is finally live and online, the problem is that we have no SE traffic what so ever for the present moment.
I will tell you briefly what we have in place and I would appreciate if you could help me find the best ways to maximize traffic using what we have...
digitaldeejay.com - Is the main site (Not SEO whatsoever). It has a PR of 3/10 acording to the google bar.
clubdjforum.com - We bought this site and it has the number one position on Google for the term "Dj forum", it points to digitaldeejay.com
We have also registered other domains with related keywords in the domain name which are currently in parking. Those include:

online-dj
We are looking to get the top positions for 'music downloads', 'buy music', 'music downloads', 'download mp3s', 'dj' and other related keywords.
I know very well that this is a tough challenge as there are thousands of other competitors however I am determined in succeeding and would like your help in starting in the right way...
My initial idea was to visit as many music related sites as I could and get them to link to digitaldeejay.com, we would then exchange the service and link back to their site. From what i have been reading throughout this forum however I seem to understand that having a link back to us from a site with a PR below 4 is not good??
From my logic I would therefore need to contact websites that have a PR above 4 and get a link on their site which has relevant keywords in the link.
On top of that I had the idea to use all our other domains as gateway pages to digitaldeejay.com. Those domains would all have internal links to all the music related domains we own.
From what I can see in a post I have just read, Google can ban you if there are links to other domains which use the same IP, in which case this is not a very good idea.
I would also like to use the fact that clubdjforum.com has a very good positioning in Google and a good PR in order to increase PR of digitalDeejay.com but how? I would also like to maintain this position in the search engine however currently as this domain points to digitaldeejay.com which is not Search Engine Optimized I am scared that this will affect the rating of clubdjforum...
As you can see I am a bit confused as to where to start...
