Default Drop down menu

Hello,
i want to put a lot of my links into a drop down menu... would the text be seen by the search engines also would the spiders follow the links?

Not sure, but if you use any kind of link that isn't a straight hyperlink it's even more important to make sure that each of your pages has a text link to a decent site map. That way, even if your main links are done with Flash, or if they're full of horrible JavaScript, at least the spiders can still crawl on through...
