subdirectories and SE

I'm developing my website in a different language and I was thinking to put it all in a new subdirectory. Like this:

www.evocreative.com/czech/index.html

would this make it harder for search engines to find it?

Just give a text link from your Current home page!!

That should be enough. There should not be any problem in indexing the new pages.

It might be a good idea to give users an options to choose their choice of language in all pages. Think over. This will ensure that the crawler will index all the pages quickly.

Add more links to point to it, that benefit for you
