why does this site rank so well

Ive been looking at a site similar to mine whose url is www.bodyjewelleryshop.com that is ranked no 1 on yahoo for the term "body jewellery" and had a look at their page but I cant figure out why they rank so well. My meta tags are more complete on my pages and I have alt text titles etc but they are top any suggestions why they do so well? Is it their links?

I asume yahoo works on another way to identify the websites, and also have other methods to pagerank a website.

alexa rank was 350.000 , googlerank was around 4.

I dont use yahoo so much therefor I cannot comment on yahoo rankings

How do I find out what google rank 4 is? I read in another forum a bit about google 4 google 1 and I didnt really understand the ranking structure.

download the google toolbar and alexa toolbar and see yourself

Sorry peter I do have the google tool bar but I have never really took any notice of it. So that tool bar helps recognise a good page based on links or links and content as someone commented is required?
What is usually a good score for the google tool bar.
