Hi,

I am a pastor who offers Powerpoint presentations, sermon note outlines and mp3s for pastors and Bible teachers. I have tried to optimize my website to the best of my abilities using tools like WEBCEO and other and still can't get ranked. I guess part of the problem is there is 1,990,000 sites listed for sermons.
Any help would help and be greatly appreciated.

Start posting your sermons on message boards and include your link. That is a fast way to increase the number of inbound links.
You can check with with programs like link partners for getting recipricating links.
There are also many sites that allow you to submit articles.
Search warp zongoo amoung others.
You have to build the number of inbound links.

Go after keywords like "online pastor" and things that might not have as much competition.

Also get relevant links, and you won't need search engines. Once you don't need search engines, they come crawling.

Then again I don't know much heh.
