Default Need help with SiteMatch

Hi,

I signed up for SiteMatch a couple of months ago. Not to get a profit from it, but to get more links (I see that Goggle for example counts links placed by SiteMatch). But since then I never got any clicks from SiteMatch. I sent a question to SiteMatch support why I don't get any clicks and got a reply that SiteMatch reads the "keywords" and "title" tag and displays the ads according to that information. I was sure that my home page was optimized for "dating service", "personals" and "matchmaking" pretty good (http://www.singles-space.com).

Does anyone can give me tips on optimizing for SiteMatch. I don't believe their support guy. If the only thing that matters is "keywords" and "title" tags, than I would get a lot of clicks.

Thanks
Agady

You need to optomize the same way you would to promote your web site. The main factors in ranking are Title tags, inbound links with proper anchor text, and the header tags and the body content. Basically you need to start working on basic SEO. Sitematch will only get your site listed in the index. Nothing more, at all...

Thanks, jestep. Probably my problem is a lack of incoming links. I didn't know that SiteMatch's position depends on the incoming links as well.

Site Match has nothing to do with good rankings - all the usuall SEO (ie links etc) determines rankings. Site Match only gets you crawled frequently, etc - it does not improve rankings.
