For those who submitted to my site and haven't appeared to be listed yet, I have a backlog as I am adding new features to the rest of the site. But be rest assured, all submissions will be reviewed in due course.

Thank you.

I have just created a web directory specifically for the travel industry, Travel Directions.

If you qualify, please add your link to the most relevant category. I will be creating new categories and relocating links as the database grows.

Links back to the directory are very much appreciated.

Most of my web sites are PR5, so I have every reason to believe that this site will be PR at the next PR update.

From my experience with submitting to directories. There could be lots of them that are less than a PR 4. These could be new and could be a PR 4 or better at the next update. I submit to all free ones knowing that if it does gain PR at the next update and is no longer free then I am already in. I passed up once on a PR 0 which is now a PR 4 and is no longer free. Won't make that mistake again.

Default Best of the current list

I used the earlier posted XLS of about 800 or so directories. From that here is the 7's and higher.

I left out the ones that charge as I found them.

Noted they are scumbags. It seems like this shady internet way of doing business is full of them...

Anyway, when the mainpage has PR 8 and all other pages PR 0. When I end up on a PR 0 page, will I benefit anything form the homepage of PR 8? (I assume traffic from any directories is zero, I jus want the link.

Nick

I was wondering if anyone knew the "low-down. They seem to be stepping up crawl frequency.

When I looked earlier I couldn't find my way through affiliate program posts. Looking again though:

Scratch that one!

Did DMOZ take action?

It says that Unsearcher requires a link back.
