I would certainly be interested in the Polish directories.
Here is one for sensor technology:

They screamed for us today - Really nice! Not only many manual listings of top SEs and Directories but the automated worked great. Just keep a submission e-mail address handy. Most were top quality. Recieved confirmation e-mails, several list within a week!
It was great. - I wish it was all that easy.

I will try and get the coding errors off the list of directories today. I guess it was late when I did it.

Has anyone dealt with URL.biz? I submitted to this successfully.. and placed a link on my home page like they asked...... but every week I receive an email saying something like:
"We see that our link code is not on <url>, please place the code on this page within 48 hours so that we can activate your listing........"
So I removed their link, as if their (buggy) crawler cannot pick it up, then they can go jump - I'm not helping their PR for nowt you know.

Yes, I have a listing there. The same problems at first, but it worked after about a week. Part of the problem was the Geocities account just had no bandwidth. Once I moved to a proper account and placed the code on the page again, there were no further problems. You have to give them the address of the exact page you have placed the link on, but otherwise it works fine now. Teh only other directory with a reciprocal link I use is yours!

I only have one directory to add here - it's one I've had a hand in building: www.linksmatch.com
you can add sites by category or by country / city...or both! You can add a small picture (120x60) to enhance your listing.
Submission is free although we do like it if you can provide a link back.
All sites are human reviewed and usually accepted within a day or two of posting.

Keep it up everyone, other members are categorizing, evaluating and reposting on individual sites, trying to structure it for everyone. I am going to personally keep a tab and categorize myself. We are running launch experiments with these high ranking directories etc.. right now. I hope everyone is getting some utilization here.
This is a particularly important post in so much as the last GOOGLE algs seem to have favored "non-reciprocal high ranking incomming links".
Do it now while you have the opportunity - I don't know how to lay it more open than this post!
I know a lot more "Peeping Toms" can contribute! Come on now! - Even if in direct competition, there are so many variables it probably stands a very small chance of direct competition. Even Site owners and webmasters of similar Sites are going to choose different keyphrases and implement them in the metatags and HTML Body differently.
Come on now - Show your SEO research prowess, WHAT HAVE YOU FOUND OUT THERE?
Divey up now - We are going to call Interpol if you don't!
LOL

I'm working my way through the list, trying to find the ones that are free or the costs. There are a few where the submit page doesn't work properly. I know I am behind schedule as usual, but I will get it done.

Doesn't look like I will catch up until the weekend. I am working in our local dive shop all evenings in July.

I looked at them too and couldn't see any way either. They are in the list anyway, just in case someone can figure it out.
