Hi,
one of my clients have got a financial news portal that is almost totally dynamic. There is very little static HTML content in their mainpage. Basically its all scrolling texts, flash and javascript. If I do a meta tag analysis on this page, all I get is javascript, popup, onclick and embed (well most of it is that way). They also carry a poor meta tag, but is a recognised brand name. Now they want to get their site optimized but do not want to reduce the dynamic elements in their pages. One of the proposals they have given me is that they would generate on the fly dynamic meta description tags for every new page added to their portal on real time basis. Can anyone please tell me how feasable this is ?

I actually do this with one of my sites. I take some of the elements of the page (title, title of heading, other variables, etc.) that are constant on that particular page and automatically populate the meta keywords and meta description tags.
This is should be fairly easy to do.
