Default I am getting Results in parked Domains !

Yesterday I ran mad to our head web master complaining that he uploadad a copy of our site to a domain that is supposed to be parked. I could not believe, when he said that it is just parked and not used. In Yahoo we are getting search results on this parked domain. How is this possible? Look at result 4 and 5 is our active domain: result 8 and 9 is the parked domain. Is there anybody who can explain this?

All thai is happening since we dropped AdSense ads.

Have a happy day

This has happened to me too. I had hoped to keep a new domain quiet for a bit while I built the site, but the spiders found it despite the fact that has been linked to NOTHING else ever...

Was it an old domain from way back with a previous owner?

I don't know much about parked domains, so my way of thinking may be wrong.

Default RE:I am getting Results in parked Domains

Hello, I have several hundered "parked" domains. This happens to 1 out of 100 I think that some pages just have age or have unknown back links that I havent found.I have pages pop up in google for several weeks than just dissappear. Since I do all the design I just think that parked pages made by the same person (same style) will do as well as your main site (temp) I woud like to have this happen on a regular basis:). Since all the pages draw from a common file on my server they have exacly the same content and are just "parked" and waiting for me. I wonder how much traffic do you get from the parked pages?
