Default Contacting dmoz Editor helps ???

I have submitted a url in a regienal category of dmoz.org.

The editor of that website lives in the same city of mine. will contacting him directly and asking him about the presen status of the sbmission and requesting on my submission help ?

adore is right - DO NOT contact editors directly re this. If it was possible to do this and request help, editors will not be editing, they will be responding to emails all the time....

Editors are 'discouraged' from responding to emails re suggested sites.

pedstar is also right. Submit it. Check at resource-zone after a month to see if its there (as adore suggested). Forget about it (there is nothing more you can do).
