Default How fast can your site be updated on SEs?

How can you get the spiders/robots to recognise your site in less than a week? I go to Google and search for my username on a few forums, and I see a result for a message that I posted less than a week ago. This does not happen with my own site (www.incraftfun.com), as I updated keywords and descriptions about three weeks ago. How can you speed up the refreshing of content?

Thanks,
Alex

Default Fresh Content, Links, PR

The frequency with which Google revisits your site depends on several thinks like # of inbound links, PR (maybe), adn the frequency with which you update your site.

You are seeing your posts on message boards in google within a week because those sites probably have several inbound links and have fresh content (courtesy of people like you) added almost constantly.

yes, if you want google to index your site often, you probably want to get more backlinks going to your site. that's probably the most important key.
