Default Pay per Inclusion?

I read where it is a good idea to get into MSN, All the Web and Lycos before submitting to Google. So is paying to get indexed within 48 hrs thru Fast and Inktomi a good idea?

Default Paid Inclusion

I'd like to know where you read that paying for inclusion will help with Google. I haven't seen that as a solid case for getting into Google.

I have been successful in getting sites indexed in Google in 48 hours, but that's a unique trick. The only issue is getting Google to capture all pages in the first 48 hours.

Unfortunately, not every site is visited by Google with the same level of importance. Google visits at least 10 pages on my corporate site daily. Getting to that position is an interesting proposition and not one everyone gets to enjoy.

If I make a change on my corporate site, that change takes 48 hours before Google applies the new cached information.
