New site,...working on Validation and SEO. Paid Google ads just to get a showing for a while,...submitted by hand to most major engines. Have robot.txt, file on server accepting all. I think we have a good document type.... I have use SEO doctor to Optimize to specific keywords,...uh what else? Oh I am totaly a newbie,...we put this page together in 2 months, and we had to learn all the softwares,...and go through all the errors, that you can possibly make to get here. We are happy, but know we still have a lot of work to do...We did paid inclusion from Inktomi (lycos) twice....the first time we actually showed up within 72 hours,...not as high as we want,...but at least we showed up...the most recent,...we haven't shown up at all..(different url)
I (we) are lost at this point...any suggestions...? www.ncs-us.com M.C. |

This isn't suggesting "only" gaining links from same theme sites (get links from where you can) just pointing out that just any link isn't better than on topic page links. Lots of food for thought here... http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=13731

I think you might have gone overboard on your homepage, having a long, meaningless list of keywords pasted at the base of you page, looks very spammy, and might put potential customers off. Instead you should work out ways to better combine your keywords with the content of your site, think about losing a lot of the images for text, and replacing them with pure text, It might mean less control over your font styles, but it'll play better with Search Engines.
Also make sure you target the right keywords, there is no point ranking high for key-terms no one ever searches for. |
