Hi,
My website is showing up at the top of yahoo using these keywords- sports searcher and fantasy baseball site reviews. Also, my site is showing up at among the top 220 on yahoo using the keywords of baseball directory and basketball directory. Using the keyword sports directory, my site is listed on page six of yahoo. My question is what can I do with my website to get listed at the top of both google and yahoo with the following keywords? sports directory, baseball directory, basketball directory, baseball links, basketball links, sports ezine and a few others I have in mind. Finally, should I design the layout of my home page into sections such as? Sports Directory: Baseball/Baksetball Sports Links/Sports Site Reviews/Sports News/Sports Content? Or is my layout all fine, just need to exchange links? YOur help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rob |

You have chosen some competitive phrases and keywords. I can see your homepage of your site has PR3, which probably means that in order to rank well in Google, you need to get more links with proper anchor text - it should significantly change your ranks.

Hi Adore,
Thanks for responding. "you need to get more links with proper anchor text." What do you mean? Regarding yahoo, how do they rank web sites? I am at the top of yahoo with the keywords sports searcher and fantasy baseball site reviews. Also, on yahoo my website is among the top 200 using the keywords baseball directory and basketball directory(two different keywords). How do I get at the top of yahoo with those two keywords? Should I custormize my sites layout? If yes, any suggestions? Thanks, Rob |
