Default Redirect .php file in IIS server

Hi,

I upgrade a website from .html, .asp to php. Now as html, asp pages are not exist but search engines still have in their cache so i,m losing my traffic.

I want 301 redirect some of pages which are more popular into a single url or different url. I've php files on IIS server now.

My question is how to redirect those pages which don't exist on the web but still getting traffic as of ranking.

thanks for reply.

I know this is a bit of personal questions but I think it would help millions of optimizers & webmasters as they always search for permanent redirect on different platforms.

So give your more opinions & make this topic general.
