PriceRunner appearing on MSN in France, U.K.

PriceRunner will have a presence on MSN as shoppers in the UK and France begin compiling their holiday gift lists. The comparison engine's results will show up on MSN, featuring pricing for items from numerous retailers.

Shopping sites on portals are trying to become a first stop for consumers, just as search engines have attained that role for info seekers. MSN and PriceRunner will have to overcome the ingrained habit of "search engine first" when looking for product information.
