I know there have been loads of posts everywhere about static versus dynamic IP but this is not what my question is about..
I am hosting a couple of my sites on a shared hosting machine, now when I go to do a whois information on the site I get the following information: Quote:

It would be more normal to have different IP addresses for your sites (rather than shared amongst your sites).
The relevance of IP addresses is mainly that links from the same Class C group (x.x.x.201, x.x.x.202, etc.) will be downgraded, as they could have come from more of your own sites. If you are planning to cross link between sites, which is rather black hat, then you would need to have the domains on totally different servers, and (some say...) have the domain owner with a different name. ...which begs the question - why are you worrying about it?
