Once and only your index page.

If you change your site substantailly then submit again. Have a sitemap.xml and sitemap. html on your server.

you can submit if it makes you feel happy.

Google usually finds new websites on its own. by following links from other websites to yours.

you need some related in-comming links to your website to speed up the process of indexing your website. Just submitting is not enough for Google.

you can submit to MSN.

For all other smaller search engines, you may have to submit only your home page.

Thanks so just once and only the Index.

One more questions, how do you get links from related sites to your own?

you can start from DMOZ or Yahoo Directory, Locate the best possible catagory that you would place your website into, Now start visiting all the websites in that catagory and check their backlinks, one by one.

now because you are the new kid on the block so they will not link to you in the beginning, but the websites that link to the websites that you want to link to, will mostly be business directories and small website owners who would be willing to either exchange links, give you once way links, charge a few dollars for putting your link in their directory.

this will get you started in getting some relevant links that you need.

Getting something in DMOZ is as hard as trying to find rocking horse sh*t

I have tried many time with many sites and not yet managed to get one in. It’s the most open closed directory around

You could add your sites to http://www.findgoodsites.com (no recip) that gets indexed quite a bit.

Msn also seems very fast to index new sites if submitted
