I have an old links directory /links that has about 1600 URLs' in it that I want to remove from the Search Engine because many "bad sites" have taken it over.

I have a new links directory at /aviation

What is the best way to get the old out of the search engines? The new will get in just fine as I get spidered all the time.

1) Put up a robots.txt file blocking access to that directory
