First time I've ever seen this happen. Wikipedia have locked a page for edit puposes - Zidane - due to vandalism!! I wonder why? LOL

I've seen pages earmarked for deletion because they're potential spam magnets. Certain topics just tend to attract more link-droppers than others. If that's their reason for locking topics, then they can probably expect the problem to come right back just as soon as the topic is unlocked.
