Default Snap.com has an interesting look

Has anyone else tried out snap.com since their launch?

I really like the previews they show, the results seem decent, but I have one complaint... it's very slow, at least on RedHat Enterprise like I run on my machine. It also seems to favor homepages a bit much at this point, but hopefully that'll be addressed by better indexing down the road.

It's not real time, but yes, that's slick. It's also not that hard to do. You just have to be a bit clever about what you're doing. If you'd like to add them to Burf, let me know. I've written apps to do that in the past on a Linux server as well as from a Windows PC... and it wouldn't be all that tough to create them and send them over to your web server. All others would just be handled via a custom 404 for the directory, which would be a generic image. ;-)

Any thoughts on the SERPs? They don't look like anyone else's that I have noticed at the moment. Does anyone know if those are meta results?
