I have aproblem with my site i have redirected my site to the page http://gannavaram.info/gannavaramflight.html and once upon a time i site have index page http://gannavaram.info/index.htm but i have redirected permenantly my site to the page http://gannavaram.info/gannavaramflight.html but when i searched the google it is showing http://gannavaram.info/index.htm as index page

How long ago did you do the redirect?

And more importantly...why?

The last thing you'd want to do is redirect traffic from your home page. It's the one indexed first and most often.

If you were to do anything, configure your server so that gannavaramflight.html is your default page.

i think its long time ago nearly 2 or 3 months back that i had redirected my domain to index.htm to flight.html.
The main thing to redirect it gannavaram is a small town and it has only one asset is aerodrome unfortunately or fortunately the aerodrome of the near by big city is located in this small town, so majority of the people came to the site want to know about the details of flight timings and aerodrome details ,so i redirected the domain 2 months ago and at that time the google results have shown the flight .html as index page of the domain but now suddenly i have seen that the domain index page is showing the onlg index.htm as home page.What to do to get back the flight.html as homepage in search results.
