Do Search Engines Get Bored ? If a site seems to 'work' - the visitors (mostly new) appear happy with the content/structure etc, and the search engines are happy to rank it - is there any value in making small, regular changes to the content to make it appear 'fresher' to the engines, even if this does nothing for the visitor?

Duplicate Content NOT To Be Indexed I own a large network of review sites and for the past 3 years we have done a dance with Google where all of a sudden they bump everything up to a $10 Min Bid and we are done. Over three years it has happened 3 times and every time we slightly change the URL (s, -, ...) and go back to work.

Display on Internet Explorer vs. Firefox I have just got my new (and first!!) website pretty much finished, and now I discovered that when searched for with Internet Explorer the first page displays differently than on Mozilla Firefox. I created the site in a sitebuilder and always worked in Mozilla Firefox. In Firefox it looks perfect.

We innocently put a bunch of links on our site from various forums from accross the web. These links link back to our web site. Google Analytics - Search Traffic Accuracy? Does Google Analytics accurately report traffic coming from the various search engines? I have been writing a report on a client over a one month time frame using data gathered from our log files. I was curious to see how that data stacked up against Google Analytics, and here's what I found: - Google over-reported its own referrals, though just slightly.

Domain Registration Seperate From Hosting After a consistently poor service from our web host we are in the process of changing providers. This process is a bit of a headache and not one that I'd like to do again in a hurry. My question is, would anyone recommend having a third party to control the registrations of domains and host their DNS (not the hosting provider).

Hosted Blog- PR Builder? I'm about to showcase my ignorance in a spectacular way. But I'd really like some clarification on this, so here's my question: Does hosting your blog on your web site increase the site's page rank? I've been told that hosting a blog on your site (as in: www.mysite.com/blog) will raise the site's PR, and boost all the site's other pages in SERPs.

Links And The Law
I switched from being an SEO to an SEO for lawyers. I have since run into an issue that I cannot find a way around, and really hope someone here can help me see the light. The ongoing link building that is required for search engine success is quite challenging as there are strict lawyer advertising laws in California.
