Happy Tuesday!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

We had a three day weekend courtesy of Memorial Day yesterday.

I spent mine at the lake swimming, fishing, and riding a jet ski... I am definitely paying for it today... sunburned and sore! But it was worth it.

Back to reality and on we go with today's posts! :)

Google Local and Panaramio - Upload Is Broken | Alternatives? | Local SEO

Not too long ago, I ran across a Local Optimization tip that suggested that adding photos to Panaramio and then adding them to your Google Places page was a good idea. It made sense to me, so I loaded some photos for a real estate client. But when I tried to upload them in his Google Account, I get an error message that says: 'unable to store image at this time'

(see screenshot).

I dug around and found a message or two on other boards and found a reference to it that suggested it is a bug that Google is working on ... however, that was last December and it's still not fixed.

Other things I have read suggest it would work if the photo has been accepted into Google Earth ... and another local SEO consultant I talked to said Picasa -- or was it flickr? -- also allows the same sort of GEO targeting of a photo that panaramio allows.

Changing Registar - Proper Sequence So I Don't Lose Everything

have asked my website host to begin the process to release my domains so I can transfer them to Namecheap. They sent me a form to fill out that is asking several questions I am unclear on (see attached). I have four domains I am going to transfer. Two domains just sit there and do nothing. I purchased them to protect our business name. They are a .net and .org. One domain name is a .com that we use for our emails. We also have a new WordPress site that we are going to start using for our main business site. The domain we currently use for our site is a .co.uk domain. We don't have any kind of emails systems set up for that....just the website.

All of these domain currently re-direct to the .co.uk domain. There are two things I am nervous about....the first is how do we transfer these and not have the website drop off the face of the earth? I am worried that 'the button is pushed' and then when somebody types our domain in their browser, searches for us etc....they get an error.

The other thing is our emails. We will be using Liquid Web for our email hosts. How do I make sure that my emails don't get lost in space?

Help, where do gmail chat invitees get ur address from?

Hi, if someone you don't know invites you to gmail chat, where are they likely to have found ur email address? Especially since they are names from a rude dating site, can they be spam invites?
