WebProWorld Members,
If you're currently having a bite to eat you may want to stop reading now....
First, a report comes out about Starbucks using beetles as a food coloring. You can read about that here. This was in effort to reduce artificial ingredients. And keep in mind, these beetles are actually used in a lot of food besides just Starbucks' Frappuccinos.
A few days after I read about that fiasco at Starbucks, I ran across this article. Yet another example of bugs found in our food that we don't know about.
The sad thing is if you really knew half the things put in our food, you probably wouldn't touch the stuff. Just read Fast Food Nation if you want a better understanding of not only fast food chains (based on America's fast food industry) but the animals and product that is actually in the food itself. Such as the chemicals used to give food that appealing smell – which doesn't come from the actual good itself. Very interesting read.
Unless you grow it yourself, you probably aren't safe.
And food isn't the only thing. What could be worse than bugs in our food? How about this "medicine" that contains human flesh. Yikes!

Google Shopping traffic almost disappearing
Our online store Google Shopping traffic is almost 0, we used to have an average of 200-300 visitors per day but now we have seen those numbers go down to 10 or 5!
We have been doing a number of changes to the site, to improve it, but lately we are not converting ...
it's an online store with thousands of products, distributed among several categories, so what can be done, we already did some sales, free shipping tests, and even PPC, that went totally wrong because the visitors clicked but didn't buy a thing, and we also had a number of chargebacks in the middle, so the situation is really becoming critical.
All the site design is just html and css3, and it also has a minimize script to shorten all css and js into optimized versions.
The site used to convert fine, but now we don't know if just price is the deterrent or something else can be improved.

Need help on black background around images
Hi - I'm a newbie to Wordpress. I've developed a pretty extensive site in FrontPage, but this stuff is new. The site is 4talonsdesign.com, using the Portfolio Press theme. I've just started it, uploading 6 images, really only being used as "placeholders" for different images later on this "home" page. I'm trying to compare this to another Portfolio Press site - sgrr.org/dogs/. I want my sidebar to be displayed on the right just like that, with spacing between my images similar to theirs. I just don't know what needs to be changed to get rid of all the black surround my images, which should be 150x150 pixels. Thanks in advance! -Tom

Are signature links on irrelevant forums a potential problem?
Although I am active on the three real estate forums that I could find that are not niche, these forums themselves are not very active, so I find I spend most of the time I have available on SEO related discussion sites. I have read differing opinions on what the effect could be of having tons of signature links from sites that are not relevant to mine, and even the suggestion that such links (especially from SEO sites) could be a signal to Google that would not be favourable. So as a precaution I have removed most of my signatures but am still active on those forums.
I was wondering what the opinions are here on this?

Kaspersky Analyst: Apple's Flawless Security Record Isn't True
Apple has long been paraded as the security maven when compared to Microsoft. However, it looks like this reputation might be changing. Recent reports from security firm Kaspersky Lab have found that malware on the Apple platform is growing. Speaking at the Infosecurity Europe 2012 event, Eugene Kaspersky, the firm's CEO and co-founder, even said that Apple was "10 years behind Microsoft in terms of security."
