WebProWorld Members,

As everyone knows, websites are a very important part of business. If you aren't online you are missing out on some great opportunities.

But just having a website isn't enough. You want a good website of course!

So today when I ran across this article I figured I would share.

It is about things to avoid while designing a website.

Whether you are a beginner in design or a pro, it never hurts to take a look at someone else's recommendations. :)

Dump My Google Penalized Site And Start Over?

I have a web design site that was kicked from 1st/ 2nd on G 1st page to 4th page.

I am considering just redoing the site on another domain (from .com to .net).

I feel that it might be impossible to fix. What do you guys think. Dump or start again?

Its not an affiliate site or blog - just a small web design services site with about 30 pages.

(also pretty ugly - but thats another story)

Looking for open source product review software

I've been tasked with managing a project which would see us build a product review site in which customers would be able to leave reviews on websites and the products they buy from them.

This would be similar in vain to many of the product review sites out here such as reevoo.com and epinions.com

Question is this: does anyone know of any software (open source or otherwise) which could host and manage the product reviews for multiple products over multiple sites? I've had a good look in various places and can't seem to find anything. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Censoring of PDF in email attachments

I'm not an internet security professional. I just wondered onto this site via Google.

My questions: Can PDF text be scanned in an email attachment, as it is in transit? It is technically possible?

Does it happen if practice , in other countries?

Are Social Networks Disrupting Wall Street?

The tech industry has hit Wall Street hard in the past couple of years with several IPOs. The trend is continuing as Facebook, the world's largest social network, is expected to complete its initial public offering very soon.
