WebProWorld Members,
Well now men's college basketball is over and I am very happy! Thankfully, Kentucky won last night and I can rest easy now.
Although it is kind of like Christmas, so much anticipation then it's over in no time. And now we have to wait months before the next season!
Of course, Twitter went crazy with March Madness tweets during and after the game. Most of them coming from Kentucky, good and bad comments.
Funny how everyone posts their thoughts on Twitter and Facebook now.
Do you posts your thoughts about games or current events on a social network?

Uploading pics to Facebook via text/email
I'm of the old-school Facebook. Lately, I have been trying to upload pictures taken on my phone, and have been unsuccessful. I don't have the web on my phone, so I've been sending pictures via text message to e-mail (which used to work up until a few weeks ago).
I go to http://facebook.com/mobile while logged in (which used to tell me the e-mail address where to send pics/vids, e.g. xyz123@m.facebook.com), but I'm guessing they're not doing media by e-mail anymore? I did a google search on this, and it gave me the old-school methods on how to set up mobile. I did check my mobile settings, and I do have all of my mobile stuff enabled.
I'm guessing the only way to upload pics by phone now is if you have the app?

Competitors Can Affect Your Rankings With Bad Links
There has been a few stirrings over the past few weeks about a new Google over-optimization penalty (or as some label a devaluation of link value) which were all derived from the quote by Matt Cutts of which almost everyone has heard or read where hey says,
So all those people who have sort of been doing, for lack of a better word, over optimization or overly doing their SEO, compared to the people who are just making great content and trying to make a fantastic site, we want to sort of make that playing field a little bit more level. And so that's the sort of thing where we try to make Google Bot smarter, we try to make our relevance more adaptive so that people don't do SEO…and we also start to look at the people who abuse it, whether they throw too many keywords on a page or whether they exchange way too many links or go well beyond what you normally expect.

Which Shopping Cart will meet our need?
We are completing a redesign of our website, getting rid of WordPress and preparing to offer a membership section where members can login, select countries and data formats and we will store the data and auto-generate their Access Control Lists each time we update our database (which is daily). We almost have this complete but we are down to deciding on a shopping cart/store.
We will be using Paypal's Website Payment Pro and Express Payments.
We do not want a traditional store front. WE want to integrate the shopping cart into our web pages. WE will primarily be selling access to our digital data, so we would like to capture enough information to create their membership account immediately after processing their order. As some customers will be renewing monthly we also need the option to allow recurring payments.
We are looking for some solid recommendations. So, any ideas? We want to launch the new website on April 5th.
