WebProWorld Members,

Now that we are more than a week into the new year... are you sticking to those resolutions?

Did you make a resolution?

I didn't this year. But of course like most people I do want to get in better shape (like always) ... especially for my wedding! :)

That's a slow process for me.

What are you doing to make sure you follow through with your 2012 goals?

Landing Page Transfer?

Landing Page Transfer?
Hello all, I need a quick answer please on a process question.

I'm probably still in the 'newbie' category; I have build numerous websites using site builders on GoDaddy and places like that for my own use. This includes adding shopping cart buttons, flash audio and other items.

I have an acquaintence who has his own business website that he maintains and accesses via his own username/password account.

He would like me to build a custom landing page for him including flash audio, graphics and shopping cart button. I can do that using any one of a number of landing page/site builder tools.

My question is this: once I create a landing page for him using a page builder tool; how do I get that page transferred onto his site, since he would not want me to have access to his account/username/password? Is it possible that once a landing page is built, to save it as some sort of file/format that could be emailed to him so he could then install it on his website?

Sorry if that's a dumb question but I've never come across this situation before. Thanks for any and all help!

Please help with WordPress Slider options

I am using the template "Character" from wpcorner (dot) com (slash) character-theme but no images are shown in the slider.

On the site, I found the following:
HOW TO SET FEATURED SLIDER IMAGES: Use "slide" as key of the custom field.
It's value is the URL to the image you wish to display.
Custom Field: slide
Value: url of image
Recommended Image Dimensions: 520×380
Honestly, I can't find any place to make the necessary changes.

Anybody please help me. I am finding this issue with almost every theme we select for our business. As I am new to WordPress Codings, I am finding this highly difficult. I even tried googling the issue and I found no answer in vain.

A detailed brief about this option is very much appreciated.

Mobile Site Detections Issue

2 days ago I went live with a mobile version of my site (way less content, etc). Today my rankings dropped from #1 to #7 for the terms 'business for sale' and 'businesses for sale' (which I have held for years). Everything else remains the same.

I have just removed the subdomain (m.business-trader......) so I can test if there was something Google didn't like which may have resulted in the serp drop. The issue I am having is when you try to access site from mobile devices (ipad, iphone, etc) it is still redirecting to the mobile site which now doesn't exist.

I can't find the redirect in the code or in the htaccess. Any ideas?
