WebProWorld Members,

Question of the day.... how do you feel about the new facebook changes? I have noticed a lot of people complaining.

Personally, I don't really like it but I don't think it is THAT bad either. The main thing I don't like is the chat sidebar, which was already in place before this recent change. I don't really get having the sidebar on the right and the friends on chat on the left but thats just my opinion.

I'm sure most people will calm down about the changes within a couple days.

We want to know what you think about the new design. Love it, hate it, don't care? Comment here!

How To Intimidate Your Competition

How To Intimidate Your Competition
A couple days ago, I landed a #1 ranking in Google for a very high volume search phrase. Great CPC, my best yet. I've already noticed an increase in Adsense earnings.

After the elation wore off, I noticed just how many people have recently started going after this search phrase. There's a .com EMD 2 spots under me, and there EMD's in 2 other TLD's at the bottom of the page. Lurking on page 2 and 3 are some hyphenated and stop word keyword domains. You go down a couple of more pages and there are dozens of web 2.0 pages that one of these guys is using in his link wheel.

I'm keeping this spot, I'll pay somebody to build links to it on a weekly basis if I have to. The only one I'm a little worried about is the .com 2 spots under me. He's going crazy with backlinking. But he also has 35 other sites to tend to.

How can I make him quit and just be happy with a #2 or #3 spot? Has anybody ever got into a battle with somebody and outlasted them? My sites stats are pretty weak. They all outrank me on stats, just not in the serps.

I almost bought an xrumer or a scrape box blast, just for appearances. But I don't want those crap links pointing at my site. I have some buffer space because the site in the #2 spot is an authority site and has many organic backlinks.

How many 301 redirects can be performed for a single page?

Say I had one page called http://xyz.com/a_b_c.php. I renamed it and did a permanent redirect to http://xyz.com/a-b-c.php a year ago. Now I again want to rename it to http://xyz.com/services/a-b-c.php. Can I do another permanent redirect again? Can it cause my keyword position to drop? I have very good keyword position, and its competitive as well, so I can't tolerate keyword position loss for them.
