WebProWorld Members,

Today, over 40 million homes which have Comcast internet service will be able to sign up for Extreme 105. This is the Comcast offering which will provide users a 105Mbps download speed and a 10Mbps upload speed. The service has been marketed since last year, and it now looks as though Comcast is ready to implement the service.

Initially, the service will only be available to the major markets: San Francisco, Seattle, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia. There are plans to roll out Extreme 105 to some of the smaller markets at a later date.

The upgrade presents a much needed speed increase, as the US struggles to catch up with other countries in terms of internet speed. Om Malik, of GigaOm, presents some caveats with Extreme 105. The service will be $105/month if you sign up for the Triple-Play plan which includes television and phone; services that cost extra. If you want the 105MBps plan on its own, it will cost you $199. Along with the price tag, the 250 GB bandwidth cap will be attached to the service as well.

Extreme 105 is based on Comcast’s DOCSIS 3.0 technology, which they rolled out with the 50Mbps service last year. With the tech, Comcast boasts that users can download HD movies in five minutes and full music albums in a matter of seconds.

Duplicate Content Issues For The Resellers

Duplicate Content Issues For The Resellers
My client has signed as a reseller to one of the product selling sites. He wants to build a site to resell the products in other geographical areas where main site is not selling their products.

The client wants to make an exact replica of the site in which he has signed up as reseller. Now my question is does he face duplicate content issues from the search engines? If yes, what are some ways to solve this?

SEO 101
Changing domain names

I have a site that has been up a few months and is listed in the serps. I've decided to break it up into 3 different sites ( each more narrowly focused ) with 3 different domain names.

Do I leave the site up at the current domain name and take the sections to the new domains or would this hurt me in my search engine listings? Is this considered duplicate content?

Do I just put a doorway page there leading to the other sites?

eCommerce Discussion Forum
eCommerce Full Time?

I currently sell on eBay and make what I consider to be decent money. I'm looking to go full time and am strongly considering an eCommerce site for my niche. I've been doing a TON of reading and have heard so many different opinions it's given me a dizzying effect.

I was wondering how many of you are into eCommerce full time and how long of a road it was for you?

I'm wondering if it's a pipe dream or if I'm actually working towards something attainable. Just curious what your thoughts are?
