WebProWorld Members,

You all heard the latest about "Designer Babies"? I don't like it. I think it's wrong. But, I'm sure a lot of people would like to pick what their baby will look like. Too crazy for me. What do you think about it? Would you design your baby if you could?

Our featured post today comes from xtempore. Here's the scenario: You're working hard, trying to get a good position in Google, but then you discover that a major competitor has used some rather questionable (maybe "black-hat") techniques to swamp the top spots. What do you do? This company, has created multiple domains and subdomains, which are effectively all targeted at selling a single product, and they have managed to do so in such a way that for the most desirable keywords their sites take up about 6 or 7 of the top 10 Google search results. Click here to help!

As for the remaining posts, the first has problems with the footer of their site. The second is looking for a form script. The third ask about Google penalizing for linking to non-related sites.

What To Do When The Competition Cheats?
You're working hard, trying to get a good position in Google, but then you discover that a major competitor has used some rather questionable techniques to swamp the top spots. What do you do?

I don't know if it qualifies as a so-called "black hat" technique, but I think so. A competitor (who will remain nameless) has applied some rather questionable methods to effectively swamp the Google search results with links to their sites.

This company, has created multiple domains and subdomains which are effectively all targeted at selling a single product, and they have managed to do so in such a way that for the most desirable keywords their sites take up about 6 or 7 of the top 10 Google search results.

Whilst you must admire their ingenuity, it hardly seems in keeping with Google's purported rules regarding duplicate content.

Site for Review http://www2.bundleofjoys.com/

My purpose is to change out all code to be all css. The problem is not knowing how to do it, the problem is how it will affect my placement. The content and links on the new design will be exactly the same, just the layout will be changed. Hopefully this will not affect me in a negative way. Any comments and critiques are welcome!

Problems With Footer

I am new to making websites. And don't really know to much html code, but I am trying to learn.

I used frontpage to make my website. My problem is my footer does not continue down the page. It stays towards the top and the content runs under it, so you cant see the content in that spot.

You can see the content after it has past the footer. Any insight on fixing this problem would be great.

Good Form and Form to Email Script

I've spent a couple of days trying to find a decent form script but to date cant find one which ticks all of the boxes!

I'm looking for a versatile script which is feature rich and has a nice email return. I'm not any good at editing php so really need a something that's easy to use.

Could anyone recommend a good script source please?

Will Google Penalize You For Linking To Non Related Sites?

I've heard different opinions on this subject. I swap links with any website as long as I feel my type of customer visits those sites and if it will bring me business.

Am I wrong for thinking this way?

Will google penalize me in the rankings for some of these non related sites?
