How long to get indexed?

I'm a rather impatient person and waiting to see if my site get indexed nearly drives me crazy.. can someone tell me how long to I have to wait to

get my site on msn?

Putting small GoogleAdWords boxes on your pages will virtually gaurantee they'll be indexed by Goofle, where they end up within the morass of the algo and DB is another story altogether . . .

Just to reiterate that MSN was mentioned and this being MSN discussion and all...

I found that to be a good question. I've seen sites appear in Google and Yahoo appear a looong time before MSN.

MSN appears to pick up very quickly on articles and your basic out-on-the-web classified ad boards if you're looking for quicker indexing.

Depends on how many links you get to your site and the quality of those links

24 - 48 hours

Submit articles to ezine articles and site maps (xml) to Google, MSN & Yahoo

If you can get a backlink from a PR5 this will get you indexed very quickly

For the one site I have it took me the longest to get on MSN but once I was on their they had me ranked higher than google and yahoo for the main phrases in my home page. I think it was about a month for me to get up on msn.
