Default Big Changes In MSN Results!!

I woke this moring to see big changes in the UK MSN results.

I have been number one for a competative term for some time now, but have dropped 44 places.

The look and feel of the site has also changed.

I need to get my head around what the changes are as my other sites have remained quite cnstant and I would go as far to say the site that has been punished is by far the cleanest of them.

I have spent months rewriting content to make it fresh and unique, that has improved results in Google, but alas knocked it down in MSN.

It may be early days and my homepage has not been cached sinces 23rd Sept, so things may level out.
Ironically I m sure it was around this time last year, that in preparation for Live, the last big change occured

Mark

Yes, we've seen some big changes too and it seems to have coincided with the new design.

One curious example was one site we work on which is number one for 'KEYWORD1' and number four for 'KEYWORD2'. Previously, 'KEYWORD1 KEYWORD2' had been ranked in the top ten, but has now dropped down onto the second page. With the two words making up the key phrase having risen in the rankings, this is most odd and something we haven't seen before.

Sometimes fluctuation can only be temporary. Hopefully, this will be the case with you too.
I had the same thing happen too. There were some periods where I was #1 for some big single words like "dance" for example. It was nice while it lasted.
