Default MSN Algorithm

I am trying to get a handle on the key parameters where MSN and Google algorithms differ.

My website ranks well on Google but does not do so on MSN. About a year ago, it was ranking well both in MSN and Google. The MSN positioning was likely impacted by MSN's algo update.

Are there things I can do to the website to make it more MSN friendly without losing out on Google positioning?

Default Not sure

I am in a Similar situation.

I am number 2 or 1 on Google and Yahoo for all my major keywords but on MSN I suck in the middle 50's

I was looking at everyone who does well in my competitor group on MSN and they all had the same thing in common.
They were all front loaded with code and style and graphic filled navigation and their textual contant was very low on the page.

Some had meta tags, Some did not
They all Had way too many KBS in short they were optimizing nightmares for Yahoo and google.

(and the #1 site on MSN shows up #5 on google. but I am sure than is IBLs)

I am not about to sink myself in Google and Yahoo Ratings (about 82% of all searches counting all affiliates) for the 7% than MSN will give me, so I decided to (de)optimize another site for MSN we'll see
